Premium Economy class flight
Travel in the Premium Economy class is a compromise between expensive business class tickets and uncomfortable Economy class. LOT Airlines therefore offers a high standard at an affordable price.
When buying a ticket in Premium Economy, you can count on many advantages such as: priority for airport procedures, better meals on board and more comfortable and larger seats.
Comfort before travelling
It is worth remembering that you should arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before the scheduled time of departure of the plane. To spend this time comfortably, you can buy access to the business lounges at Warsaw Chopin Airport with Premium Economy tickets.
Hot and cold snacks, drinks, alcohols and press are available in the lounges. All the lounges are also equipped with timetable boards, chargers and showers. The entrance to the business lounges can be purchased directly at the airport for 120 PLN per person
Priority service
Premium Economy passengers are entitled to a priority check-in and the possibility to board the aircraft first. Right after landing you can also collect your baggage before other passengers.
Bigger luggage
When going on a trip overseas it is difficult to fit into the baggage allowance of 23kg per person.
When travelling in the Premium Economy class you can take two suitcases weighing 23 kg each as checked baggage. In addition, you can carry a carrying case that you can take with you on board the plane and a bag with a laptop.
Comfortable seats
The passengers have comfortable 50 cm wide folding seats with adjustable headrests and footrests. The seats are much larger than those in economy class. For comparison: in Economy class, there are three seats to go by the windows and only two in Premium Economy class.
The seats also have a wide, individual screen of 10.6 inches and a remote control, which is placed in the armrest.
Each seat also has a USB port, an electrical outlet and headphones. There is also a pillow with a blanket (much bigger and warmer than in economy class) and a beautician with an eye mask, ear stoppers, socks and toothpaste and toothbrush.
Meals on board
Even before take-off, the crew greets passengers with a welcome drink. After takeoff, the staff will offer snacks and then give you hot towels to wipe your hands with before meal.
About 1.5 hours after the start, the main dish is served with an appetizer, salad and dessert. Personally, I am on a vegetarian diet, if you also don’t eat meat as I do, you should report this to the airline a few days before the flight.
Hot and cold drinks are available to passengers throughout the whole flight. Dinner is also served shortly before landing. The meals are extensive and very varied and, most importantly, they are served on porcelain tableware.
Menu
I have to admit that a Premium Economy flight is much more comfortable and less tiring than an Economy class. The service is at a very high level and the differences can be seen when you board the plane.
Traveling in this class is certainly an interesting alternative for passengers who are able to pay more for a more comfortable seat on the plane, but at the same time do not want to overpay for a ticket in business class, because the difference in price is huge.
